Flashback: March 5, 1973. It was the 45th Academy Awards. Conducted every year by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) since 1929, this year would prove to be especially controversial for Hollywood.
It was time for the name of the Best Actor award recipient to be called out. The winner was Marlon Brando, famous for his role as the Don in “The Godfather” epic. Instead of Marlon Brando, a Native American Indian woman named Sacheen Littlefeather took to the stage in his behalf to REJECT the award.
Why? See the video of her speech:
Marlon Brando was angry at the film industry and their elite, who painted the Native American Indians as savages in their in their films. Brando was beginning to realize, like many other critically thinking actors and actresses through out history such as Mel Gibson and River Phoenix, that there was an ulterior agenda behind the lights and glamour of Hollywood.
On the day of the 89th Academy Awards ceremony, we saw a glimpse of this now tightly concealed agenda, or moreover, the political influence held over AMPAS, as the controversial “White Helmets” won an Academy Award.
Directly following this horrific debacle, the controversial Snopes team took to loosely discrediting years of investigative journalism by Vanessa Beeley by highlighting one of many of her articles on 21stCenturyWire covering the humanitarian industrial complex.
The fact checking article failed to mention that U.S. immigration authorities denied entry to Khaled Khateeb, the 21-year-old cinematographer for the documentary. It is also suspected that Raed al Saleh, the leader of the White Helmets, was also refused entry. He was refused before.
4) This is the nail in the coffin which should prove to you that this is a liberal agenda hit piece.
Quote from the end of the article:
“The group has come under suspicion from those who support Assad. The Russian-funded television station, RT (formerly Russia Today), regularly posts stories casting doubt on the motives of the group (the Russian government supports the Assad regime).Whatever their motives may be, we found no credible evidence that the White Helmets are linked to terrorist organizations. The accusations seem to be levied at the group based on political motivations, not evidence.”
In response to the above hypocrisy:
1) The group has come under suspicion from many people. The suspicion is not exclusive to those who support Assad. This is clear PREJUDICE.
